Client: Boston Company
Task: Logo for Retail sale of premium tea, tea sets and tea-ware.
Brief: We are looking for a logo that prominently features the letter "B" and the full name "Boston," possibly including the year 1773. The design can incorporate imagery related to historical events and the tea trade. We would like to explore options that are designed in a heraldic style, reflecting a classic and timeless feel. You may also include references to the company if it fits the overall design concept.
Approach: The project was approached by presenting the client with a variety of design options, ranging from classic monograms to heraldic logos. Three distinct logo concepts were prepared, each differing in style and complexity to provide a broad spectrum of choices. After reviewing the options, the client selected the heraldic logo as the preferred direction for the design.
Endorsement: The client accepted the logo as soon as he saw it and was delighted. The client sent out a tea set as a gift and sign of appreciation because of how much he liked the logo.
