Task: Logo Design
Brief: Hakop Hajibekyan is an entrepreneur launching a cannabis business and is in need of a logo to represent his company. I had the opportunity to engage in conversation with Hakop to understand his vision for the logo.
He shared that he had an idea of incorporating a bulldog smoking a joint, while also ensuring that the bulldog's appearance did not convey aggression and that the design should be in a cartoon style.
Approach: This project presented a significant challenge as illustration is not a specialized area of my expertise. After much research and trial and error, I was able to successfully draw, design and present a logo to my client that met their satisfaction.
For this project, it was necessary to use an iPad Pro and the program Procreate to then send the raster version to Adobe Illustrator and vectorize it.
